PushFar, the global online mentoring platform, has secured a new contract with Guide Dogs, the charity that offers life-changing services for individuals living with sight loss, to launch a charity-wide initiative to offer mentoring services both internally and externally.

The new partnership focuses on giving employees access to career progression and skills development through mentoring, as the charity looks to give back to its employees who go above and beyond to help people with sight loss live the life they choose.

Online mentoring platform, PushFar, one of the world’s leading online career progression platforms, has worked with the national charity to roll out the programme to more than 1,000 employees across the UK.

Speaking on the new mentoring initiative, Claire Borer, Learning & Organisation Development Consultant at Guide Dogs, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with PushFar, whose support has been excellent, on this exciting initiative. Mentoring can be an invaluable tool for both personal and professional development. Accessibility of the platform was key so we were delighted when Pushfar’s platform passed our Team’s stringent testing enabling us to offer this opportunity to our staff.”,   Looking ahead, the partnership will be reviewing how the platform can support those the charity works with.

Ed Johnson, CEO of PushFar, added: “It is fantastic to team up with such a worthy charity like Guide Dogs and provide a mentoring scheme to help give back to their dedicated employees and help them continue to excel in their careers.

“Mentoring can have a transformative effect on individuals’ lives, and we believe that this initiative will make a real difference to the lives of those within the charity and the people they support.”
