Cezanne HR has been selected by Henshaws to help the charity tighten up their HR processes and gain insights into their workforce. With over 400 employees to manage, Henshaws has opted for Cezanne HR’s Absence module in addition to the core People module.

Henshaws has been helping people for 180 years. The charity works with people who have a range of disabilities, primarily focusing on the vision impaired. With programmes to assist people to live more independently, and a college for young people with physical and mental disabilities to prepare them for adult life in the community, the charity makes a significant impact improving the lives of thousands of people each year.

To deliver their services across the North of England, Henshaws has a workforce that spans Yorkshire and Manchester. So, when they were looking for a new HR system, the charity wanted a modern Cloud-based solution that would be easy to access for HR, managers and employees. Self service was also an important consideration, as was easier reporting for both HR and the Henshaws board. They added the Absence module to make it simpler for their people to request holiday leave. This was a form-based process in the past, and Henshaws looks forward to saving time with their new absence module.
