Outsourced payroll and employee benefits specialist HIVE360 has signed-up a record-breaking twenty-one new clients.

Companies now working with the Birmingham-based business include specialist key worker recruiters to the care, healthcare, manufacturing, driving and construction sectors, and Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) licensed labour providers operating in a range of industrial recruitment sectors.

Among HIVE360’S most recent new clients are global technical and construction recruitment firm Deverell Smith, nursing and healthcare sector recruitment experts Appoint Healthcare, education skills group FE Partners, and specialist driving staffing business Driving Force.

Alongside the growth in client numbers, HIVE360 has launched a recruitment drive to fill new roles in its payroll, employee engagement and client support teams.

HIVE360’s Head of Sales, Eric Holland explains: “We have seen growing interest in our outsourced PAYE payroll solution from recruitment agencies and small and medium sized businesses, increasingly driven by the pressure to balance cost efficiencies through savings on operational costs.

“Ensuring agency, contract, part- and full-time workers are paid correctly and compliantly is so important.  Our solution guarantees a speedy and transparent service, with no nasty fees for workers. It delivers efficiency gains from our payroll, digital payslips, pensions auto-enrolment, and pay documentation support, as well as huge cost savings from our inclusive benefits and wellbeing package provided as part of our solution.

“This year is proving significant for HIVE360,” he adds, “as we continue to see growing awareness and understanding of the advantages of outsourcing payroll, evidenced by the number of new clients, but also by our existing clients that continue to work with us.”

Businesses using HIVE360 for their outsourced payroll and employee administration services also gain access to its innovative employment experience platform Engage, that they can roll out to their workforce under their own brand.

Eric explains: “We are specialists in wellbeing and benefits provision – brought together in our unique solution: Engage, which is included in our outsourced payroll and employment administration services. The app currently averages upwards of 150,000 user sessions each month, and has proved especially beneficial throughout the last 18 months, with use of its confidential employee mental health support services up by 155% since May, as well as a 220% hike in demand for health and fitness advice.”

Of working with HIVE360, James Williams, Recruitment Partner of FE Partners, says: “We created our business to be conscientious recruiters standing out from the pack; HIVE360’s benefits solution for our temporary workers, which includes really valuable support such as 24/7 doctor support, aren’t offered by any of our competitors, and the customised way in which the solution is rolled-out allows us to present the benefits app as our own.

“Our clients love Engage because it helps us attract the best skills into their businesses, and gives them peace of mind that they are being treated better than any other temporary workers, while our candidates love it because we put the app front and centre in all our adverts, so they know they are joining a business that provides more benefits than many permanent positions.

“The process has been so simple and flexible,” he adds, “and I’ve recommended HIVE360 to every business that asks about better payrolling their staff.”

HIVE360 is championing a new model of employment administration, redefining payroll and pension administration processing, and making employee benefits and wellbeing support more accessible to a wider pool of workers.

The Engage app includes My Health, My Money, My Discounts and My Work features, which give users secure access to benefits, services and information, including a personal doctor, personal support helpline, care support, gym memberships, thousands of high-street and online lifestyle and dining discounts, mobile phone savings, online training resources, and GDPR-compliant pay and pension information.

HIVE360 recently published a free-to-download eBook: ‘Attract: Engage: Retain: your complete guide to getting your people strategy right’ which includes practical guidance and hints on how to create employee loyalty, boost talent attraction and retention by ensuring people are happy, healthy, and productive at work.
