Global brand transformation company secures industry-leading accreditation in recognition of positive workplace culture and employee wellbeing practices

Global brand transformation company Landor & Fitch has been recognised as a 2022 Great Place To Work®, securing official certification for its studios in the UK, US, France, Hong Kong and Mexico.

With Great Place to Work® widely recognised as the leading independent global authority on workplace culture, this certification verifies Landor & Fitch’s longstanding and deep commitment to its people – priding itself on a culture that nurtures individual and collective success, fosters diversity, and creates communities of shared purpose, beliefs and behaviours.

Based on an anonymous survey of employee experiences, the certification scores companies across different aspects of workplace culture, such as inclusivity, employee wellbeing, and management. Landor & Fitch staff across all five locations scored the company highly across the majority of categories, with particular emphasis on:

  • Pride in the company – 94% of employees indicated they were proud to tell others they worked at Landor & Fitch
  • Trust and responsibility – 93% felt they were given a lot of responsibility in their work
  • A caring culture – 92% indicated that people within the company care for one another
  • Recommendations – 91% would recommend working at Landor & Fitch to others

The certification also required a written submission from Landor & Fitch, responding to specific questions around the employee experience. These included areas such as how employees are involved in developing new ideas and better ways of doing things, and how colleagues – regardless of role – are made to feel included and able to reach their highest potential.

Here, Landor & Fitch initiatives shone through brightly, including Above & Beyond – a global award program celebrating those who have truly impacted clients, business and culture; ShipShape – the company’s global, holistic wellbeing programme; and Continuous Conversations – a flexible, employee-led approach to learning and development to replace rigid annual appraisals.

Carol-Ann White, Group Chief People Officer at Landor & Fitch, said: “What makes this accreditation so important to both the company and me personally, is that it’s based exclusively on the honest feedback of our people. It’s the ultimate recognition of the collaborative and inclusive culture we’ve worked so hard to nurture through initiatives like Building to Belong, aimed at building a workplace that celebrates creativity and individuality, and The Good Squad, with its focus on inclusion and accessibility in our work for clients.”

Karen Thomas, Senior Consultant at Great Place to Work® UK added: “We congratulate Landor & Fitch on achieving their Certification™. Organizations which put the employee experience at the heart of their business gain their employees’ trust and, in turn, are truly able to build a great workplace culture that delivers outstanding business results. A particular strength is their collaborative culture; 93% of employees say they can count on their colleagues to cooperate and 94% say people are willing to give extra to get the job done – notably higher than our global benchmarks. Most employees view the culture as very inclusive and feel fairly treated. It is not surprising that the majority of employees are proud to work for Landor & Fitch”.
