Cantium Business Solutions, a specialist provider of HR, IT and Finance solutions, has partnered with Medway Community Healthcare (MCH) to provide occupational health services to its employees.

Medway Community Healthcare is a social enterprise that works to support and improve local communities. As part of the initial two-year deal, Cantium will work in partnership with MCH to offer a range of services to support employees and promote workplace health throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including:

  • Pre-employment health assessments
  • Referral assessments and management
  • Vaccination and immunity testing

Cantium’s occupational health specialists will carry out assessments for new and existing employees. They will provide access to personalised, specialist advice to assist MCH in the management of both short and long-term absences, in addition to delivering support that is relevant to employees’ specific healthcare needs.

This service will be delivered through a range of channels including face to face clinics for vaccinations, telephone consultations as well as phone and email advice. Cantium will also use its leading occupational health platform to collect staff information and process online pre-employment screenings.

Kim Reynolds, Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development at Medway Community Healthcare explains: “Our people are our greatest asset, and we look forward to working together with Cantium so that we can continue to deliver high quality occupational health services for our employees. Investing in the health and wellbeing of our people is crucial, and the partnership has been designed to support our entire team, right across the organisation.”

Ross Miller, Head of Workplace Wellbeing Services at Cantium Business Solutions comments: “People have never been so aware of our staff’s physical and mental health and wellbeing. It’s important that provisions are in place to support that, and our goal is to help MCH and its people to meet the challenges of the workplace so they can be productive, happy and fulfilled in what they do.”
