New York-based Fye joins a globally distributed executive management team.

Cognism, the globally compliant go-to-market intelligence company, has today announced that New York-based Richard Fye has joined the company as Chief Human Resources Officer. Richard comes to the table with a wealth of experience having previously served as People Leader of Datadog, and joins Cognism’s international leadership team with responsibility for all aspects of HR across Cognism’s global workforce of nearly 500 employees.

Cognism’s executive management team is committed to building leadership that reflects the global nature and scope of Cognism’s business. Richard is the second C-suite leader to be based in the United States, joining Boston-based Chief Product Officer, Michelle Bradbury; Chief Executive Officer, James Isilay based in Switzerland; Chief Technology Officer and co-founder, Stjepan Buljat based in Croatia; and Chief Marketing Officer, Alice de Courcy based in the United Kingdom. Richard’s appointment highlights the dedication to finding the best people for the job, no matter where they may be.

Richard’s previous experience was also global, working for Datadog across 10 international offices with employees based in 30 different countries. He built the People function that scaled the company from 150 to 2,500 employees and helped it through a successful initial public offering and NASDAQ listing in his five-year tenure.

“I’m committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace that supports employee growth and development, fosters innovation and drives business success across every geography in which we operate,” explains Richard Fye.

“I want Cognism to be a world-class employer that recruits, develops and retains the best talent in the world – and I’m fully committed to the long days and changes in time zones. I’m excited to spend time with our employees in the United States, and throughout Europe.”

The members of the People function at Cognism are also based in the United States, United Kingdom, North Macedonia, Germany, and Croatia and form the basis of Richard’s core international team of HROs.

James Isilay, CEO of Cognism said: “Richard’s appointment at Cognism is another commitment to a truly global management team and distributed workforce. By hiring globally, we find the best people for the job and build a skilled team of people who are based wherever they need to be.

“Richard’s knowledge of how to rapidly scale a workforce in times of high growth will be invaluable to Cognism at this point in its evolution, and I welcome him to the executive management team.”

With Richard’s experience and Cognism’s commitment to building a world-class team, the future is bright for this globally compliant go-to-market intelligence company.
