At Perspectives 2020, Skillsoft and SumTotal announced Program of the Year Award winners. This year, Perspectives 2020 transformed into a global digital experience, which inspired the new approach for Skillsoft and SumTotal’s award program, spotlighting the innovative ways customers across four different geographies are leveraging learning and talent development to drive tangible business impact in their organisations.
This award recognises an organisation in each region that has developed and implemented a leading-edge program utilising Skillsoft or SumTotal solutions, which enable organisations to unlock the full potential of their employees. Award-winning programs are multifaceted; they demonstrate business impact, cost savings, and feature innovations that infuse a renewed energy across the organisation. Now more than ever before, providing on-demand learning and skills development tools is absolutely mission critical as organisations must rely almost exclusively on digital experiences to enable continued growth for employees.
“The positive and demonstrable business impact our Program of the Year Award winners have been able to achieve is outstanding,” said Ron Hovsepian, executive chairman, Skillsoft. “Our customers are driving an astounding 63 per cent lower annualised turnover rate by mapping career journeys and providing the training needed to accelerate them; achieving a 10-point engagement lift in just 18 months by prioritising skills development; and delivering mobile learning to all employees, enabling access to those who don’t have a company-issued computer.”
“We are thrilled to see these customers leverage Skillsoft and SumTotal solutions to carve out competitive advantages and unlock the full potential in their most valuable assets–their people–particularly at this time when employee development is paramount,” continued Hovsepian.
This award recognises organisations that have developed and implemented an innovative program utilising Skillsoft solutions with measurable impact on employees and the organisation.
