Leader Connect, created by Neil Jurd OBE, author of The Leadership Book, gives subscribers insights and guidance from experts

A new subscription-based leadership coaching website has been launched that aims to provide on-demand expert guidance for anyone in, or aspiring to, a leadership role.

Leader Connect is the brainchild of Neil Jurd OBE, author of The Leadership Book and Fellow of the Institute of Leadership. Neil, based in Cumbria, is also Entrepreneur in Residence at Lancaster University Management School.

Each piece of content is short, usually around ten minutes, and highly focused on specific elements of leadership, so subscribers can learn exactly what they want, and at their own pace.

Neil, CEO at Leader Connect, said; “We want the next generation of leaders to really learn their craft, so the web site content features recognised experts in many fields talking about their experiences and giving real insights into how leadership works.

“Leader Connect has new content added every month; it is very competitively priced to attract aspiring leaders and students.”

The service is targeted at CEOs, managers and team leaders in all sectors, including education and the military, and there are special rates for MBA students. Subscriptions start from £15 per month and a 10-day free trial allows visitors to get a good understanding of the nature and scope of the content already available.

The Leadership Book has received many endorsements, including this from General Sir Patrick Sanders, Chief of the General Staff, MOD: –

“The ease with which you breakdown what is a perennially difficult and ephemeral skill into accessible chunks is deeply impressive. I am pleased to see it becoming reference material for the Army, at all ranks.”

Neil Jurd also runs a Leadership Development Programme, which is based on The Leadership Book and is a 4-module residential course than spans 12 months; its participants include Virgin Media, the NHS, Port of Singapore Authority, and the University of Sheffield.

In addition, he is currently National Director of Initial Officer Training for the Army Cadet Force. In 2020 Neil received a British Citizen Award for his dedication to leadership, and was appointed an OBE in the 2021 New Year Honours List.

Leader Connect is part of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, which encourages employers to support the defence industry.
